Infinite Art      by Philipp Liedl
Infinite Art Series     Paintings     Photography     About Me     Vita      Publications

In my artworks I experiments with colors and abstract forms on different materials such as canvas, metal and wood. The reduction of colors and forms to their essential effects is a main topic of my work. This way a link is created between fine arts and the analytic description of the complex reality in natural sciences by using formally reduced laws. Over the past five years my work has been exhibited in solo and group shows, e.g. in the House of Economy, Stuttgart, Germany, on the Algordanza Young Art Platform in Switzerland, in the Mazowiecka Gallery, Warsaw, Poland, in the Gallery Poliedro, Trieste, Italy and the Gallery TIR, Nova Gorice, Slovenia. Finalist of the 9th International Syrlin Art Award 2010. Participation at the Red Dot Art Fair and Select Fair together with EUart Gallery in occasion of the Art Basel Miami Beach 2012.

I have a doctorate degree in physics and work as managing director at the Steinbeis Angewandte Systemanalyse GmbH (STASA GmbH) in Stuttgart, Germany. At STASA together with my team I develop customer specific solutions for data analysis, visualisation, modelling and forecasting of complex systems in the fileds of production processes, regional economics, and location choice.
